I would appreciate suggestions for British and Argentine figures/vehicles in 15mm.

The only dedicated 15mm Falklands infantry (at he moment) are the MJ figures range.

For vehicles, you can add in the following large ranges from QRF:

What Geoff said, the QRF figures are very useful to supplement the (rather limited) range of MJ stuff.

If you aren't fussy you can use some WW2/Vietnam era US figures to supplement the Argentinians.

I have a few 'transformerbot' plastic LVTPs from my AK47 armies which come in handy for Falklands stuff as well.

They're also listed on Eureka's 300 Club; maybe you can stir up some interest in getting them to the magic number? (10 people wanting 600 total is the production threshold.)

The MJ range is very nice. They are a large 15mm, nice castings and good price.

I have a pile of the MJ Figures I picked up from a store that was blowing them out dirt cheap a couple years ago. I just started painting them this week. You can see some pics of them on my blog:

Is anyone still producing them?

I was also thinking I'd pick up some QRF stuff for support weapons, etc…

Tim, very well done! I have several packs of the MJ figures as well, not painted, but your page is inspiring!

I think Shield Wall Games is still making them. That's where I got my last bunch from, some months ago. Good prices, even on postage from the UK.

I still think there should be a Falklands War discussion group on Yahoo!

Here is where one can get the MJ Figures (was Nearly New, Dragonhoard, and now Shield Wall):

I get confused as to who they are, as that seems to be the same website as previous (even down to the spelling mistakes) but with a new header (?)

GeoffQRF24 Jun 2007 11:00 a.m. PST

Ah, just sorted out why!

"Well where I start. I have been LRPing for over 20yrs and table toping as long. I met my business partner Mark over two years ago, live role playing. He told me about his business Dragon hoard and the shop in Stafford . I thought that idea of doing a business in the hobbies I really enjoy was a great idea. So I put to Mark that I was interested to do the same. So we did and we created Shield Wall Games."

But they are back as their own entity for last couple of years:

mjfigures.co.uk

I've placed three orders with them and had great service each time.

Of course in the intervening years our own range has come out: link
