How about this, spray-painted on the side of a building in a post-apocalyptic game table . . .

"Repent! The End Is Near!"

Any other suggestions?

Farstar20 Jun 2007 4:26 p.m. PST

On the next building over: "Too Late! The End is Here!"

Next building has a door with a bouncer. The sign over the door says "The End".

My favorite comes from 28 Days Later: "The End is ****ing Well Nigh!"

RavenscraftCybernetics20 Jun 2007 4:37 p.m. PST

"WE DID IT" (from 12 monkeys)

Dave Crowell20 Jun 2007 5:01 p.m. PST

"Eat My Brain!"

Inspired by the song of the same name by the Odds.

One of my WH40K buildings back in the day had a stencil of the Imperial Eagle and the slogan "Hail the Emperor" with a "J" sprayed over the "H". Not quite PA, but it showed up in those games too.

Check out the game Underground. That has tons of pictures with good graphitti in it.

My favourite is "I'm a people person!"

Palafox20 Jun 2007 6:44 p.m. PST

"Frag!!", "bite this, fanboy"

Lobo or Simon Bisley comics are good inspirations.

Some art in Rifts had graffiti all over the bulkheads of Chi-town…
KS is Godly!
Melt my mind!
DEAD BOYS SUCK! I'm Psychic
etc.

Plus, all the graffiti that was there BEFORE the apocalypse, as long as what it was painted on hasn't fallen down… On a university wall, someone wrote "Is there intelligent life on Earth?"
a week later someone tacked on "Yes, but we're only stopping to refuel…"

Depends on what caused the apocolypse I guess. At least there would be warnings, markers for turf etc.

Cacique Caribe21 Jun 2007 2:57 a.m. PST

On ruins sticking out of the ice on a frozen Earth, how about the words "Beware of Global Warming"?

"Power to the 6eyed messiah" (or any mutation you may wish)

"Jesus saves / God kills"

"World Eaters were here"

"All that remains …"

fall backon your prehistoric roots CC, simulate cave pictographs with hand prints, animals, "robots", bomb bursts, mushroom clouds, and such. I have a small setting on my airbrush that would allow for 1/4" overspray…make templates/stencils with your computer, cover with clear packing tape, cut out the items, spirit gum or frisket the pieces on, overspray (will look like spray paint), remove printed items…taaadaaaa.

Also the language from futurama would be very cool and funny to also include…and you need at least one kilroy. And in fine CC practice, I provide linkage:

picture

oh yeah, a "death to the Evil Empire" would be fun also.

28mmMan21 Jun 2007 10:42 a.m. PST

Damn it I just noticed Ed2HrGames beat me to the Kilroy, oh well, good call Ed. :)

MaksimSmelchak21 Jun 2007 11:01 a.m. PST

Hi Guys,

This one still amuses me:

"Jesus saves but Moses invests."

And an old 28mm sci-fi skirmish game (Future Wars?) had this grafitti on a sidewalk terrain piece.

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

or
"Everything Dies!"

One of my favorites is "Mutate and Survive!"

Ok, maybe a bit long for graffiti. :)
