My good friend John Bertolini (who got me into modelling and casting my own figures) brought some of his Seven Years War figures over for me to take pictures of. Some are homecast Prince August/Holger Eriksson figures. The rest are figures he has modelled, moulded, cast and painted all himself.

You can find the pictures on my blog:

Excellent Blog Tim. I'll put it in my favourites.

Tim, does John have some GNW figs? I seem to remember a fellow named John, and I thought he was from Sask, years ago sending me some samples, when I owned "Pharaoh's Arms" (1991-1997), or could have been when I was "True North Productions" (after 1997). COuld you ask him if he ever sent me some samples, as I think I still have them!

Charming miniatures that would grace any waargames table. I like the bright and crisp paint jobs.

Beautiful work ! Kudos to your friend John, Tim. I really like that painting style. I like my PA's too. I consider myself a decent hand with a paint brush, but I'll admit mine don't look that good.

Very Nice! I'm tempted to try the home cast system; if I can ever find the time. Perhaps a tutorial on your blog; sculpting, mold creation, etc…

It would be appreciated by me!

Great work!
