I know it's expensive to use some of the assembled and painted items to game with, but I'm looking at who's the best supplier in the US. I plan on ordering some of the best and varied lines such as Neptune etc. and mixing and matching to form some navies. If anyone can recommend any distributor for service and overall ordering experiences or very bad experiences for any too, please let me know.
Any information steering me to the best would be appreciated.
Thanks, Karl

Karl,

I suggest you check out Morning Sunshine Models. Wide selection and great service. Most of the models are imports so be prepared for sticker-shock.

Do a search on Ebay, Karl. I find a fair number of WWII 1/1200 models offered, often of good quality and lower priced than retail.

I'll second both Alnavco and Morning Sunshine. I order from both.

Does anyone have a resource for buying 1:1200 or 1:1250 scale ship parts? I am looking for turrets, cranes, lifeboats etc…. Alnavco is no longer interested in selling them. Thanks for your help

I've only ever purchased aircraft from ALNAVCO but I agree that their service is excellent.
