Their website is totally blank now, except for a line that reads "Down due to non-payment".

Is this the end?

I doubt that. It's porobably an accounting oversight. happens to the best of us. :)

Isn't paizo taking over the distribution of ME figures?

hadn't heard that. ME is probably down at GTS and doesn't know about teh site.

I heard from several different people that they are owed money from ME. It's hearsay I know but I've assumed for the past few months that they were going away.

It's all speculation of course.

I thimk they are history. There has been nothing new in the last year. There have been constant website dramas and their two retailers here have sold off their stock.

Haven't heard an official announcement, but if they've gone under, it's really no surprise. Kind of a shame, but not a surprise.

Business issues aside, it seemed to me like they were targeting an excessively small niche. There *are* lots of D&D d20 players out there, sure, but how many of them really need figures for goblin cooks or spell effects?

Yeah…. They had some nice character sculpts in their line, but my main problem was the scale, and the higher-than-average price.

Well, the website being down is not great, but since I haven't had the ability to update it for three months, I guess it's not a huge deal. We will have a new website up, hosted at Paizo sometime this week with new images, product announcements and messageboards.

There have been pretty big issues getting restocks from us over the past couple of months, but I believe that is corrected at this point. To my knowledge, no distributors have dropped us. In fact a few more will be picking us up in the next couple of months. Most of the retailers who carry us have been very patient and are eager to get restocks as well. We are very thankful for their patience and trust. The bottom line is that we have had some troubles, but our demise has been prematurely announced.

Thanks for your support.

So, sorry to drag this back up, but I still haven't heard much from Egos…. Any updates?

Glad am I to hear Ego is not defunct. The prices of anything hobby related is always an issue with everyone. Did not stop me from buying a dozen or so of their figures. So far their miniatures have been beautifully done and quality control spotless. As for their subject matter, I for one am thrilled to see someone producing stuff outside the box but still related to what we are all use to. Hope they can keep it up and I wish them the best of luck. I will keep sending my money their way as a show of my appreciation.

Any chance that ME is still going to produce Clan War miniatures?
