Keep in mind that unless you are painting one of the 1/350 scale models or larger, the smaller the model the darker the same shade will appear. For example, the paint you use for US Ocean Gray (5-O) will need to be lighter by on a 1/6000 or 1/3000 than on a 1/1200 or 1/700 model to look the same. |

If you want to make the colors look lighter for smaller models, priming in white helps. |
