I just came across this site which lists various paints and the WW2 color they are supposed to match, or resemble.

Keep in mind that unless you are painting one of the 1/350 scale models or larger, the smaller the model the darker the same shade will appear. For example, the paint you use for US Ocean Gray (5-O) will need to be lighter by on a 1/6000 or 1/3000 than on a 1/1200 or 1/700 model to look the same.

If you want to make the colors look lighter for smaller models, priming in white helps.
